Join Vestas and become part of a team based in Taranto with a Nationwide and International scope with professional career development opportunities The Technical Support and Maintenance department is responsible for the entire Product Process and Maintenance of the Production lines and main building equipment, present in the Vestas Blades Italia production Plant. Responsibilities • Deploy safety culture in entire team – develop employees according to Bradley curve and in complies with Vestas Safety rules. Make sure the team complies with the Vestas safety systems e.g. PPE, lifting instructions, waste handling. • Carry out 5S audits, ensure creation of Near Miss and Hazardous Observations and follow up on actions. Ensure and participate in risk assessments. • Carry out internal TS Audits (SQDC). • Take care of the EAM system and assure Asset conformity. • Assure equipment documentation in pace and according to Legislation • Manage QBD factory level and cooperate on specialist levels. • Oversee project activities such as development and improvements and implement projects based on QBD tasks, and run continuous improvement based on QBD calls. • Ensure full integration of TPM in all the areas and maintain the cross functional knowledge in this • Ensure final implementation of EAM and SAP Spare parts • Monitor performance metrics as yield, waste, machine efficiency (availability/MTTR/MTBF) and provide recommendations for improvement • Provide technical support (PLC) to other Equipment Engineers in the team, in order to complete machinery improvements and solve break down • Support reviewing potential process feasibility, risk assessment, requirements, identify new/existing processes, present and support the implementation of Cost Reduction Projects • Participate in Tech transfer projects: Contribute with project manager support, Lean thinking, Expertise Knowledge • Install manufacturing equipment, develop standard operating procedures and provide technical support • Ensure EAM and TPM is an integrated part of NPI and Tech Transfer projects • Ensure that the department is committed to comply with DS/EN 13306 Maintenance – Terminology Qualifications Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering 4 years of experience in a similar position Fluent English TPM expert qualification Plan and implement RCM analysis on tools and equipment Six sigma Green Belt PLC Expert Competencies Have good methodical skills and pay attention to details. Team working skills Result-oriented Management skills.
