Join us for a delicious cultural experience Job Summary The OM is responsible for all aspects of operations in the city. This includes, but is not limited to day-to-day management of guides, tour guiding, guest satisfaction, tour development, performance and availability of products offered and overall growth strategy of the city. The OM is in charge not only of keeping operations running and achieving the highest level of guest satisfaction, but also for the overall growth and profitability of the city. This also means building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including identifying and partnering with local stakeholders and third parties which may help us increase sales and strengthen the Eating Europe brand locally. The OM is the local ambassador for the Eating Europe brand. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee operations of the city Guide management (hiring, training, scheduling, and general management of guides) Vendor management – establish strong and good working relationships with all local vendors Product development – identify new product opportunities, identifying their potential and developing these in collaboration with Product Innovation Ensure full compliance with Eating Europe operating procedures, policies, service standards and values at all times Handling complaints and oversee service recovery procedures Manage the on-going profitability of the city, ensuring that revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services Handle complaints or objections Guiding our Venice Food Tours Profile Multi tasker Flexible Works well under pressure Creative in finding solutions Not afraid to make decisions Goal oriented Able to manage freelance team Ability to work autonomously Excellent project management skills Solution focussed Proficiency in English and the local language An existing network of potential local and international partners is a bonus What we offer Amazing personal growth experience in a fast-developing and fast-growing company Lots of autonomy and trust in our employees to bring their best ideas and initiatives to the table Fun and creative international colleagues who are passionate about food and about sharing experiences with guests and colleagues Flexible work hours as long as you get the job done – flexibility is a two-way street Competitive compensation package based on experience and skills Opportunity to work remotely (we all do) Interested?
