We are seeking a AFC Operations Team Lead for our Italian market to lead our bright and fun-loving AFC team. Our goal is to ensure compliance to our finance regulators and fight financial crime in the Italian speaking market.

In This Role, You Will

• You take responsibility for operational Financial Crime (AML, fraud, terrorism financing, KYC) topics in the Italian market.
• Leading and coaching a team of highly engaged financial crime experts and ensuring high quality of our operations.
• Implement and improve the processing of financial crime events within the Italian market.
• Supporting the relationship with Italian regulatory authorities.
• Ensure timely reporting of all suspicious transactions to authorities and respond to external and internal requests.

Background

What you need to be successful:

• 3-5 years of relevant banking experience in Anti Financial Crime or Compliance, ideally with direct exposure to regulators.
• First experience in leading a team in an international environment.
• Academic background in Law, Finance, Financial Crime or similar studies are a plus.

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Italian regulations on Financial Crime, AML, terrorism financing, fraud, KYC
• You enjoy implementing processes and approaching new topics and challenges independently as the foundation of your work.
• You are native/bi-lingual in Italian and proficient in English.
• You have a hands-on mentality, stress resistance as well as a willingness to take an active role in our company.
