Coca Cola HBC Italia Assume un Country Packaging & Project Engineer per la sede di Sesto San Giovanni (Milano).

Reporting to the Country Engineering Manager, the Project and Packaging Innovation Engineer is responsible for the implementation, within the supply chain, of all the innovation projects.
He/She will be the first point of contact for the marketing dept. and is responsible to manage the innovation projects from the feasibility study until the OTIF implementation within the assigned budget.
The Project and Packaging Engineer is also part of the Group Packaging team and is responsible for all the Country packaging optimizations projects.

The main responsibilities are:

Participating to all the routinely meetings between marketing & engineering to collect the innovation requests;
Perform feasibility studies/tests and provide budget estimation to the Country Engineering Manager;
Prepare the business cases to get the project approval;
Define and provide to the procurement team the technical specifications for the equipment to be purchased/upgraded;
Provide technical support during the equipment procurement phase;
Design and develop, together with the equipment suppliers, the technical specifications of the raw materials;
Manage and coordinate the project execution teams (the projects can be executed in 6 production plants within the Country);
Coordinate Project Team planning/production/quality team in developing the rump up & validation plans;
Ensure rump-up within the performance and timing agreed until the final project sign-off;
Provide to the finance dept. a reliable cash out phasing for the projects he leads;
Implement the packaging optimization initiatives aligned with the Groups guidelines;
Collaboration with PA&C for internal and external communication about Sustainability commitment;
Project Manager for packaging strategic project;
Auditor for toll filler and suppliers approval;

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Materials/Nanotechnology or Chemical Engineering or similar backgrounds
  • Minimum 3 years experience as project manager on product packaging innovation, previous experience in food&beverage industry will be considered a plus
  • Technical competencies for new packaging development both primary and secondary
  • English fluency
  • Proficiency in AUTOCAD and Office tools
