Team overview and job responsibilities
The Projects Division of Prysmian Group is looking for a Portfolio PMO Controller based in Milano, in the HQ of the Company. He/she will report, at the beginning, directly to the Project &Contract Manager VP.
The role:
The Portfolio PMO Controller is the reference point in the PCON office for portfolio reporting, data collection and aggregation; PM documentation and procedures update; PM documentation update during tender stage supporting BD department; coordination of Quantity Surveyors in supporting Portfolio and Projects numerical analysis for PM, Regional PM and PCON Manager; assisting PCON Manager as ‘Office’ in the update of presentations (ie Projects, Governance, Organization Charts, Staff Meetings, Internal PM&CM events) and data bases (various reporting, from people, people facts, project facts,..):
The ideal candidate will:
• Ensure the correct update and production of all necessary reports and data bases
• Constant update to PCON Manager
• Support to change management streams
• Timely and thorough production of PM tender docs
• Coordinate quantity surveyors
Key requirements
• Preferably around 2 years of professional experience in a PMO or PCON department within the oil & gas, energy sector of a multinational company
• Previous work experience with EPCI environment
• Master’s Degree in Engineering, Economics or similar related Degrees
• Fluency in English
• Strong interpersonal skills, team working abilities and influencing skills
• Attitude to understand the scope of the project together with the traditional PM skills
• Flexible mindset and able to work in a very dynamic context
• Good communication skills
• Very strong analytical skills
• Specific knowledge of submarine cable and offshore operations are a plus
