Production Engineering HW & SW Developer

Barco – Being part of an expanding team for the realization of software and hardware for the industrialization of new top-of-the-line healthcare monitors and prov ide technical assistance in the implementation and maintenance phase. The mission is the creation and management of the tools and software for production departments and their implementation in collaboration with the teams of the research and development department. These activities will be principally performed for the Italian production site, but also for other production sites and service centers in international locations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintenance of loading, alignment, testing and safety production software processes and hardware. Perform processes validation. Draw up the documentation relating to the industrialization of the products relating to the software and hardware implemented. Collaborate with the designers of the R&D department in the development of firmware and product documentation. Manage the production transfer from and to production plants outside Saronno site. Contribute to the editing of the PFMEA and design for manufacturing activities, collaborating with the R&D project teams. Analyze the new display panels to them production implementation. Provide technical assistance to the production and service departments in Saronno plant and international production and service plants. Your profile: Applications and scripts software programming skills, preferable in Python and Visual Basic. Basic knowledge in PC hardware and software configuration. Basic knowledge in networking. Problem solving skills. Fair written and spoken English. The knowledge in database management: data types, SQL queries is a plus. An added value is a basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics. Knowledge in monitors devices is appreciated. Willing to diversify the work on different activities. Good predisposition to interpersonal relationships and teamworking. Exceptionally willing at non-standard working hours. Open for direct interaction with blue collars.
