The Electron Green Project Manager will ensure that Electron Green solar systems are developed through the stages of initial assessments and preliminary designs, then surveyed to create complete business cases which clients can approve. You will be supporting the Country Manager in this development phase. Once projects are approved, the Project Manager, with support from Procurement, will select an installer and ensure the projects are built in accordance with all requirements such as but not limited to: The specification The detailed design documents IEC & IET requirements The power grid network operator requirements Any country specific requirements You will be accountable for ensuring that projects are built: Safely To the correct quality requirements On budget On time You will ensure that all commissioning and testing is completed correctly and that all relevant documents are provided in the correct format having been quality assured by yourself. You will report to the Italy Country Manager. Italian driving licence The Person You will: Have strong connections within the Italian solar industry Enjoy achieving broad goals rather than completing set tasks. Be able to form strong professional relationships with contractors and all stakeholders and do so with humour and charm. Be flexible to work at site and from home as required. Have a degree or equivalent accredited knowledge in an energy related discipline such as electrical engineering, industrial design, renewable technology. Have accredited qualifications in: Safety Management Quality Management Project Management Be conversant with the latest inverter, solar module, and system technology. It is Daniel’s vision and customer focus which have driven the team’s success with Electron Green’s residential solar programme and then FlowGem, an IoT water leak detector sold to Centrica as part of the Hive proposition. Since moving into the commercial world, he has been a BP Project Manager on gas pipeline and facilities projects in Eastern Europe, including a $915m compressor station in Georgia.
