(Remote)Sr. Technical Lead

Description: A Senior Technical Engineering Lead job on Satellite Ground Support Equipment and Tooling is currently available at Belcan. This is a full-time, remote position. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering field (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 10 years of experience in Satellite Design and drawing definition. Job Duties: Technical point of contact for design and drafting with customer Communicate general job status with Belcan management Assign tasks to Belcan team Sell Belcan capabilities to customer Review design and drawings before submission to customer Planar/Waveguide SME Areas of expertise to support: Antenna structures design and drawings Composite panels Planar waveguide Rigid and flexible waveguide routing Brackets/fittings Assembly drawings Interface control drawings Reflector assemblies GSE tooling design and drawings Alignment fixtures Handling fixtures Pre-range and Range configuration drawings Feed integration drawings Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering 10 years experience with concept design and drafting processes 5 years of experience in a lead role requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience in Satellite design, detailing and tooling concepts. Desired: Design experience utilizing CREO parametric design with Teamcenter product lifecycle management software. Experience with Ground Support Equipment and Tooling concepts and processes Experience with engineering document/drawing creation and/or release We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 however Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
