We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Backend Developer to join the Translated team in our HQ in Pi Campus, Rome.You will be a key member of the Core team, and your responsibilities will include: Be involved and participate in the overall Core applications lifecycle Main focus on coding and debugging Build high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future Develop functional and sustainable applications with clean codes Troubleshoot and debug applications Optimization of the applications for maximum speed and scalability Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of designers, developers and system administrators Stay up to date with current best practices Skills We Look For We’re looking for someone who has most of the following and is willing to learn the rest on the job as needed: Experience with PHP Experience with Node.js, its tools and ecosystem Experience with React.js Experience with DBMS MySQL Experience with version control GIT Innate care for structured, modular, clean and efficient code. Quick learner and good communication skills. Proactive, self-driven and enjoys solving complex problems, not just in the primary area of responsibility but across boundaries.
