Who we are & What do we believe? Arcadia is a non-profit organization that aims to share and spread academic content to people all around the world. It focuses on diverse sub-categories across all disciplines, from art, literature and history, to science as well as providing art contents on social media platforms. At Arcadia, the academic team consists of over 70 international writers and 218 members. Arcadia does write in many fields with Higher Education Academic level articles with the aim of sharing the knowledge our team has, to allow all the people around the globe to benefit from this knowledge without any charges or subscriptions. Why Is This Position Remote / Online? We believe that the internet is one of the greatest resources people have, giving us the opportunity to exceed our physical boundaries. Arcadia positions began remote/online due to the COVID-19 pandemic and remain so to enable people all around the world to have the opportunity to work with us. Who We Are Recruiting For Position? We, As Arcadia, are looking for two people who are interested to work with our social media departments as social media coordinators which support degrees and proven work experiences for the position they are applying for. We will be hiring 2 people for the social media coordinator position and responsibilities for these positions will be as listed below: As a social media coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to direct art consultants and plan weekly meetings with the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) for media coordinating purposes. You will also work as a coordinator of copywriters, account managers, and marketing officers, implementing your unique style to align with Arcadia’s goals in reaching more people while promoting its art works.Arcadia offers a variety of choices for coordinators based on their studies and work experiences. Social media coordinators are provided with two sub-areas to work on: Publication and Development : This role involves allocating articles to be published and creatively assigning articles and illustrations to copywriters for marketing purposes to be used as social media content. As a coordinator in this area, you will work on assigning articles to copywriters and minimizing them as a summary. You will collect these summaries and meet with marketing officers to ensure that planned short introductions are suitable for the best representation of the topic. You will also be responsible for assigning these documents to account managers and observing their actions to ensure the process is going smoothly. Furthermore, you will provide training and guidance to members and other members to show them the publication standards of Arcadia, and introduce new content ideas and unique perspectives that they can discover under your supervision. Visual Arts and Branding : As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be tasked with managing the effective distribution of content across various social media platforms through the direction of account managers. In this capacity, you will be responsible for providing guidance on branding strategies and ensuring that the brand is represented with creative and engaging social media trends. The coordination of the publishing schedule will also fall under your purview, as you will work to ensure that the brand is consistently represented in a timely and impactful manner. The task at hand involves researching and communicating designs under the supervision of the senior executive team, including the Chief Strategy Officer (SCO), Chief Design Officer (CDO), and Chief Creative Officer (CCO). Working in collaboration with the Chief Academic Advisor, your leadership skills will be required to coordinate and guide your team towards effective and efficient work, utilizing the best tools available to maximize productivity. In this capacity, you will be expected to conduct monthly meetings with your team to assess their performance and ensure that they are working comfortably. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading and monitoring the activities of team members, and delivering reports regarding their activities and approved designs for the final approval of executives of the department. These reports will include your detailed feedback regarding the work of your team, which will play a crucial role in the decision-making process of the department. As an SMC, it’s important to be able to think creatively and come up with unique ways to represent ideas within latest art movements where you will be a role model for the members that you will be leading. Researching and Communicating : Designs and Art Consultants are paired based on their project’s background with expert advisors.After detail oriented work approved by CDO,CCO and CAO, work is presented to you. You will be making research on how your marketing officers and copywriters are effectively displaying the topic to the audience to attract them more to the website and to become a follower of Arcadia with passion. You must be able to read and analyze the text/ ıllustration/ mood board that is given to you and guide your colleague effectively within your area of expertise for the best visual representation of a topic that is aimed at the department’s vision. Good time management skills: Along with the ability to manage multiple tasks, it is important to have strong time management skills in order to make the most of your workday and stay on track with deadlines. This could include setting goals and schedules, breaking down larger projects into smaller tasks, and using tools such as calendars and to-do lists to stay organized. Strong attention to detail: It’s all about the details. As an SMO, you will need to pay close attention to details in order to ensure that the work your members deliver are at the highest quality. This could include proofreading documents, reviewing artwork for accuracy and consistency, and checking for errors or omissions of designs and implementing new marketing strategy for the brand. Knowledge of Art History and Different Art Styles and Movements: As an SMO, it is important to have a strong foundation in art history and an understanding of different art styles and movements. Arcadia is an art and academy organization where you will be working on coordination of our art works’ representation alongside academic articles. This knowledge can help you to better understand the context of the work you are reviewing and provide informed recommendations to members. What Are Our Requirements For The Position? A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Art Design, Art History, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related discipline. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, including applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience with a variety of art mediums and techniques, including traditional and digital methods. Strong skills in creativity, research and communication, problem-solving, teamwork, time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience with project management, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute projects from start to finish. Knowledge of social media platforms and strategies, including experience with content creation and curation.
