    This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of the UniCredit team in a high-profile global brand and digital communication role, defining the strategy and positioning of the UniCredit Group, businesses, products senior management in the social media, managing the overall Group digital identity and experience.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the social media strategy, including digital reputation management and digital content delivery. This will be achieved through the direct management of a team and external service providers as well as ongoing collaboration with the communication teams in each geography. The ideal individual is dynamic and creative, with a strong international experience in institutional social media community management and digital communications.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Social Media, Content and Digital Reputation

    • Oversee the creation of creative, impactful social media campaigns to support communication, marketing and business objectives
    • Lead the innovation of an integrated external/internal communication using web editorial properties (analytics, SEO), social media channels and influencer marketing
    • Establish guidelines for the behavior of colleagues on social media, empowering them to manage their digital footprint to the Group’s benefit
    • Define the paid social media plan to maximize the impact of key messages and stories
    • Manage the digital editorial process, setting guidelines for digital content and governing deliverables produced for and published in other UniCredit channels
    • Monitor information published on social media channels related to UniCredit and sector news, competitors, specific business areas or topics, Group initiatives and events

    Strategy and Leadership

    • Actively contribute to the protection and enhancement of the Group’s reputation
    • Support the execution of an integrated data-based Group communication strategy
    • Ensure a single multi-lingual institutional narrative across digital channels, with consistent messages and a tone that are in line with the Group position
    • Build a global team including direct reports and functional teams in the Group’s geographies
    • Collaborate fully with the media relations, internal communication, marketing and other teams
    • Supporting crisis management processes using digital channels/media

    Reporting & Measurements of success

    • Create and maintain a model to maximize the integrated reach and engagement of defined stakeholder clusters
    • Measure and report on the results of always-on activities and on-demand campaigns
    • Create and manage the social media channels budget, optimizing spending and channel mix and measuring the value of investments
    • Support editorial planning and tracking for key messages and communication campaigns
    • Measure reputation KPIs

    Key skills & experience  

    • Extensive proven experience in international institutional and commercial social media strategies, including digital / editorial planning and marketing
    • Strong leadership and team management experience (5-10 years)
    • Proven success in digital reputation and crisis management
    • Data-driven with a passion for new tech solutions
    • Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution (banca)
